When even the spooks think you are going overboard, maybe you need to re-evaluate your methodology. Personally I have oft believed that the fact that there are official documents, that are decades old, that can still only be disseminated after having most of their relevant content covered up with copious amounts of black ink - is a troublesome thing. It fails to instill faith in my government.
But when you find out that current requests for classifying information are up 400% in the last 10 years - you have to ask; "What are you hiding, Mr. President?"
